WIL at Clerkenwell Design Week

This year Clerkenwell Design Week, CDW19 has supported the WIL Project in a panel organised by darc magazine. “Women In Design” was hosted by WIL UK Ambassador Greta Smetoniute. Inspiring and diverse panel guests included: Lauren Lever, Katia Kolovea, Faye Robinson and Anna Kharchenkova.

During the short 30min, panelists have shared their stories of journey in design as a woman and what problems they have encountered, as well as, what issues they see in design industries. Check the panel discussion below and share your thoughts!

It was established that it is more then the lack of female representation and day to day sexism, but much broader problem. All panelists had a shared point, that progress will be made, only by open conversations and collaborations, respect and true care for each other between the different genders.
