About:
Christina Sideris is a Canadian conceptual installation artist, photographer, and creative director whose work explores the intersection of art, light, and human wellbeing. She is the Founder and Creative Director of Artistry by Design (ABD), a multidisciplinary platform that transforms fine-art photography into immersive, light-integrated installations designed to support emotional balance, presence, and restoration.
With a foundation in fine-art photography and over fourteen years of experience in creative leadership, Christina’s practice has evolved from image-making into large-scale, experiential environments where light becomes an active, transformative medium. Her work integrates layered photography, circadian lighting principles, and wellness-informed design within a proprietary sculptural system known as the Art Box—a museum-grade, modular installation manufactured in Canada.
Christina has exhibited internationally, including a landmark large-scale photographic installation at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), and her work has been showcased at major design and lighting platforms such as NeoCon Chicago. Through Artistry by Design, she also champions a global licensing model that enables artists worldwide to engage with light as a new artistic medium across art, design, and wellness sectors.
Her work is driven by the belief that light is not merely aesthetic, but deeply human—capable of shaping perception, regulating emotion, and restoring our connection to time, space, and self.
