This year, the Italian Chapter's annual meeting took place in an exceptional location, surrounded by the wonderful Dan Flavin installation inside the church of Santa Maria Annunciata in Chiesa Rossa. The WIL Italy ambassador Giorgia Brusemini, along with Lilliana Iadeluca for the WIL ENTERTAINMENT section, welcomed around thirty lighting designers from different regions of Italy.

It was an opportunity to celebrate together the fruits that each year come from sharing a common goal: genderparity, starting with our sector, moving through concrete actions, and looking forward. In particular, we focused on some guidelines to understand what it means to concretely support Women in Lighting, such as joining the 50/50 program in creating50/50 panels and juries, and actively participating in and supporting initiatives and events related to gender, inclusivity, and diversity to raise awareness. Thanks to Martina Frattura, who has always supported our ambassador here in Italy, and to formalighting, who supports our events.
