Women in Lighting is proud announce new partnerships:

Professional Lighting Design Convention, PLDC

The Convention, organised by VIA-Verlag, was created for the global lighting design market. Designers, lighting architects, researchers, universities, industry and clients use PLDC as a platform to meet, learn about the latest developments in lighting design, and discuss the future of the lighting profession. PLDC stands for high quality knowledge transfer and international networking opportunities. 

The motto of the 8th PLDC, scheduled for 23. – 26. October, 2019 in Rotterdam/NL, will be “merging masterminds”. Women in Lighting will have a dedicated meeting place inside the exhibition space of PLDC 2019. Please visit www.pld-c.com for more information.

ASBAI – the Brazilian Association of Lighting Architects

ASBAI currently has a female president and an all female board! ASBAI is our first partnership with a lighting design association.

APDI – Asociación Profesional de Diseñadores de Iluminación

The Spanish Lighting Designers Association which has a new female president, Lara Elbaz, whom we interviewed.

STIR, based in India is our new media partner.

Lighttecture, another new media partner is edited by Esther Torello, our WIL Ambassador to Spain.
