LDI, Las Vegas 2025

8 Dec 2025
Las Vegas Convention Center

The ever-changing role of the lighting designer” was a fabulous panel discussion played out before a near full house on the main stage at the LDI show in December, 2025.

The panelist’s had a great dynamic - interacting with each other, with the amazing moderator Sharon Huizinga and with the audience.

Super inspiring thoughts, great advice and amazing role models for young women entering the profession who are wondering which roles would suit their skills and interests.

Thank you for standing up and being visible - Aria Hailey, Jessica Creager and Naomi S. Gold.

Thank you to AYRTON, ACT Entertainment, Briony Berning, Linnea Ljungmark and the LDI Show for supporting the Women In Entertainment Lighting project.

Great to see so many friendly faces at the Rosa Stunde drinks with Solveig Busler on the ACT booth straight after the panel.

Rosa Stunde (the pink hour) has been running for more than ten years and began at an unplanned event initiated by Solveig Busler (now with Schnick Schnack Systems, then ProSystems Group) and Marc Lorenz (now with Ayrton, then freelance) at Prolight + Sound, Frankfurt, on the ProSystems Group stand, where a small group of industry women met by chance and discovered they didn’t know each other.

You can read more about the history of Rosa Stunde in an article in Protocol Magazine.
